Wilmington, MA
Beacon has developed and is marketing a flywheel system
for energy storage and power quality applications. Initial installations
are providing back-up power at remote telecom and cable nodes.
Capstone Turbine
Corporation (CPST)
Woodland Hills, CA
A leading micro-turbine manufacturer, Capstone's 30 kW,
60kW, and 200kW recuperative turbine power plants are becoming a major
force in the emerging distributed generation market.
Evergreen Solar,
Inc. (ESLR)
Marlborough, MA
Evergreen manufactures photovoltaic cells and modules for
use in the remote power and distributed generation markets. The company's
patented String Ribbon technology offers unique cost advantages in the
manufacture of poly-crystalline silicone wafers.
H2Gen Innovations, Inc.
Alexandria, VA
H2Gen has developed a novel technology for small scale steam
reforming of methane to produce hydrogen. In late 2009 H2Gen was sold to Air Liquide and CB&I.

Mississauga, Ontario
Hydrogenics has a reputation for excellence in manufacturing
air-breathing PEM fuel cells for the distributed generation market.
Northern
Power Systems, Inc.
Waitsfield, VT
Northern Power constructs and installs small scale wind
and hybrid power systems for use in a variety of distributed power applications.
Proton Energy
Systems, Inc.
Wallingford, CT
Proton manufactures a line of low-cost Proton Exchange Membrane
(PEM) electrolyzers for producing hydrogen gas. The company's core technology
can also be used to produce a PEM unitized regenerative fuel cell.
